Arconic is currently in search of a S&OP Tactical Planner to join our Rolled Products North America Team based out of Davenport, IA.

Job Summary:
This position is located at the Davenport Works plant and primarily supports functions in North America across all mill locations, with a focus on the Automotive business segment. The role involves aggregating and analyzing customer forecasting inputs, interfacing with customers and manufacturing to ensure alignment, and performing tasks such as problem-solving, data/statistical analysis, business strategy development, inventory/cost reduction, and systems modeling.
You have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Accounting, Business, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Data Science/Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Sales or Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain management, finance, or procurement.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.
Exceptional Candidates also have:
- Proficiency in MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of systems modeling tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, oral, written, and problem-solving communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and deal with all levels of management.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Information Systems from an accredited institution.
- Experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Query etc)
- S&OP planning experience.
- 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain management, finance, or procurement.
- Experience in the Aluminum industry.
- Experience in statistics, data modeling, information systems, and manufacturing environments.
- Detail-orientation skills including strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects/data points in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Innovative, strategic thinking, leadership, decision-making, communication, and negotiation skills.
