Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in scientific or analytical programming in a test and evaluation or data analysis environment.
- Must have a Top-Secret Clearance.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, C++, or R.
- Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and numerical/statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience handling large, complex, and sometimes classified datasets from instrumentation, telemetry, or simulation environments.
- Familiarity with data standards and formats used in DoD/DoE testing environments (e.g., HDF5, TDMS, XML, JSON).
- Ability to interface with test instrumentation teams, data acquisition systems, and evaluation leads to ensure data quality and alignment with test goals.
- Proficiency in using Git, Linux/Unix environments, and common data analysis libraries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or defense contractor TE&A programs (e.g., DT&E, OT&E, developmental test events, system-of-systems analysis).
- Knowledge of test range operations, MIL-STD data formats, or live-fire and flight test data.
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), or custom dashboard development.
- Background in modeling & simulation (M&S) integration or verification & validation (V&V).
- Understanding of acquisition lifecycle processes and test planning documentation (TEMP, DTP, etc.).
Working Environment
This is an on-site, fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. This position is normally 5 days a week M-F. However, weekends and after hour support may be required.
