JOB DESCRIPTION

Technical Officer - PLM

Scheduled Maintenance Planning

  1. Preparation & Ensuring timely release Daily Work Package for Scheduled Maintenance of fleet and ensuring all work is completed within the stipulated time frame.
  2. Timely release of Information of preliminary major tasks which are planned on Indigo fleet to Line Maintenance during night.
  3. Ensuring routing & planning of Rectification of Critical Snags in Coordination with LMD/MCC.
  4. Ensuring closure of work orders and reporting back of scheduled tasks in AMOS.
  5. Coordinating with LMD and Stores for ensuring availability of man-power and material for maintenance.
  6. Confirm and ensuring all work orders of previous days Work Package have been closed in AMOS and pending/deferred tasks are to be re-planned.
  7. Continuous monitoring of Maintenance Forecast in AMOS for timely & effective planning of all maintenance events coming due on A/Cs.
  8. Monitoring and ensuring that CVR read-out of half of the fleet is done every month and resetting the requirements for next month.
  9. Ensuring spare availability and including MCC W/O in work packages as and when aircraft is specifically routed for MEL/CDL clearance.
  10. Ensuring sufficient ground time availability for aircraft with major tasks planned.
  11. Monitoring and planning of TCI units falling due for replacement in upcoming months.
  12. Preparation of Biweekly Maintenance Plan for A320/A321 Fleet.
  13. Providing details of material to be pre-loaded to Warehouse for daily work package.
  14. Cross-checking the Reduced BSI plans provided for correct planning of NEO & CEO A/Cs.

Routing:

  1. Preparation of Aircraft routing.
  2. Monitoring of several routing constraints.
  3. Tracking/Implementation/cross checking of cancellations due Fog/crew/other operation reasons.
  4. Tracking upcoming schedule changes that involves time change/call sign change/rotation changes.
  5. Coordination with OCC for delay saving.
  6. Coordination with MCC for routing of unscheduled maintenance requirements during day.
  7. Implementation of additional routing requirements for next day’s routing given by MCC.
  8. Ensuring all the operational requirements (APU route/Brake Route/Domestic Route) are met while preparation of Aircraft Routing & changing any routing.
  9. Coordination with LMD for closure of Audit-Points closure.
  10. Coordination with crew planning to increase effectivity of crew planning by taking swaps in rotations to cater crew pairing requirements.
  11. Coordination with MCC, LMD for rectification of critical snags.
  12. Positioning of A/c for BMD activities
  13. Implementing day to day cancellation taken by OCC/commercial due operation reasons into routing and cross checking cancellations/time changes for base mis-match.
  14. Preparation and releasing of NEO EVENTS in coordination with QATS.
  15. Preparation daily data for Grounding of A/c.
  16. Preparation of distribution of aircraft for operations daily.
  17. Preparation of Seven days Templates.
  18. Monitoring of flights and call sign changes for T1 and T2 flights to avoid base mis-match and releasing information of re-positioning of Aircraft.
  19. Monitoring of ATR rotations that halt at any station during transit for more than three hours (if any does).
  20. Rules/requirements for schedule Rotations to be implemented in schedule in coordination with commercial and crew planning.
  21. Updating Continuous change in Night halt pattern.
  22. Coordination for lessor inspection.
  23. Coordination with Revenue management for stretcher.
  24. Implementation of Day to Day cancellation.
  25. Providing feasibilities to Notam/Aeroshow planning to commercial.

Miscellaneous:
