At StandardAero, the Component Repair Services (“CRS”) segment is a fast-growing business focused on the MRO of commercial, military and land & marine engine components and accessories. We are seeking a strategic and analytical Pricing Manager to lead pricing operations within CRS.
As a Pricing Manager, you’ll drive profitability, competitiveness, and long-term business growth through optimized pricing strategies and rigorous commercial analysis. The Pricing Manager will oversee a team of pricing analysts and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and others. This position reports to the Vice President, Commercial Operations.
What you’ll do:
- Pricing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement pricing models and strategies for CRS that reflect market dynamics, customer segmentation, cost structures, and commercial objectives.
- Manage price setting, discounting frameworks, and value-based pricing initiatives.
- Maintain general and customer pricing catalogs with a high degree of accuracy.
- Evaluate and refine pricing architecture across products, channels, and regions.
- Analyze historical performance, industry benchmarks, and customer data to inform pricing decisions.
- Resolve daily pricing inquiries from multiple functional internal groups and external customers.
- Commercial Support
- Act as a key business partner to the Sales and Commercial teams, providing guidance on deal structuring, margin analysis, and risk assessment.
- Work with Finance and Operations to ensure pricing reflects actual service costs and capacity planning.
- Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses for pricing decisions and go-to-market strategies.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor a team of pricing analysts, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and career development plans.
- Foster a high-performance team culture focused on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines and business priorities.
What skills you will need:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, or business analysis (preferably in aerospace or MRO services).
- Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong industry knowledge and familiar with products, processes, and customer requirements.
