Summary:
Inspect flight component installations and verify functional testing of aircraft systems.
Troubleshoot and verify pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
Perform and document pre-flight, post-flight, maintenance, and modification inspections.
Record and support resolution of issues found during testing and operation.
Conduct self-inspections and ensure accuracy of work performed.
Create non-conformance records with minimal supervision.
Plan and schedule work activities with guidance from team leads.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
4+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational training + 2 years, associate degree + experience, etc.)
Ability to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
3+ years of aerospace industry experience.
3+ years in quality inspection and/or auditing.
3+ years using Velocity and 787 production systems.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Successful completion of on-the-job or classroom training is required for this assignment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 35 lbs.
Work may include exposure to elevated platforms, noise, and hazardous materials.
Requires use of PPE and passing visual acuity/color perception tests.
Frequent walking, standing, overhead reaching, climbing ladders/stairs, and balancing on uneven surfaces.
Occasional crawling, squatting, bending, and manipulation of small components.
