Our client, a leading player in the aviation industry, is currently seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Manager to lead and manage the infrastructure and operations of their specialized aircraft paint hangar. This role is pivotal, providing an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to make a significant impact on daily operations by ensuring all facilities and tools function reliably, safely, and efficiently. You will be critical in maintaining operational excellence and compliance with regulatory standards, directly supporting the Site/Ops Manager in this dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct maintenance and repair of hangar facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance
Manage replacement and cleaning of critical parts such as filters
Promptly address facility-related issues
Monitor, document, and report on water usage, waste, and environmental metrics
Repair and service onsite equipment (paint guns, pots, specialized tools)
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using SAP or similar systems
Collaborate with Site/Ops Manager on facility upgrades and improvements
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major repairs or installations
Requirements:
Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management (industrial/aviation preferred)
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Experience maintaining paint equipment
Familiarity with SAP for maintenance tracking and documentation
Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills
Strong teamwork and stakeholder collaboration ability
