Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description
Join a team dedicated to ensuring excellence in craftsmanship by supporting a Zero-Defect culture. As a Quality Inspector, you will be pivotal in maintaining high standards by inspecting materials and production pieces, approving incoming goods, and enforcing the Quality Management System. Your role will involve conducting visual and measurement inspections, communicating necessary adjustments, and documenting results to uphold the integrity of our products, including cabinetry used in airplane cabinets and doors.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, first article production pieces, in-process production pieces, and finished products.
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications through visual and measurement inspections.
- Approve production quality output by confirming specifications and communicating necessary adjustments.
- Approve finished products and provide feedback for areas needing correction.
- Create re-work jobs when necessary.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, including DMR and RMA transactions.
- Maintain measurement equipment by performing calibration procedures and calling for repairs.
- Assist the internal audit team by serving as an internal auditor when required.
- Execute the Quality function of the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
- Assist management in developing and implementing employee training, including creating and presenting training material.
- Complete various audits, communicate results, and provide improvement recommendations to management.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in quality assurance practices.
- Experience using calipers, rules, micrometers, and radius gauges.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of full-time experience in a technical or manufacturing role.
- Aerospace experience is highly preferred.

Work Environment
Work within two machine shops, one with four machines and the other featuring advanced overnight and technical runs. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of flexible hours including four 9-hour days and a half-day on Friday once settled into the job.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.23 - $28.85/hr.
