As a CNC Machinist, you’ll work with advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines to produce precision components from metal, composite, and graphite materials. This is a high-impact role in a low-volume, high-quality production environment where craftsmanship and innovation meet.
🔧What You’ll Do- Set up and operate CNC machines, with a focus on 5-axis machining.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform machining operations including drilling, trimming, countersinking, and cut-off.
- Transfer programs to machine controllers (Fanuc and Siemens).
- Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments.
- Verify part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
✅What You Bring- 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and operation.
- Proficiency with Fanuc and Siemens controllers(3-, 4-, and 5-axis).
- Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills.
- Experience with horizontal CNC machines (e.g., Breton) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Willingness to comply with union rules and regulations.
🎓Preferred Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Machining Certificate or equivalent technical training.
- Completion of an 8,000-hour machinist apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
