As a member of the GE Aerospace Digital Technology organization aligned to the Technology & Operations High Performance Computing as a Service (HPCaaS) team, the Staff Technical Project Manager will be responsible for wing-to-wing execution of complex, highly technical projects to deliver quality outcomes to internal and/or external customers. You will partner with the Senior Director, Technical Product Manager, Architects, and functional owners to define requirements and with the technical team internal and external to the program to ensure outcomes are delivered safely, with quality, on time, and within scope and budget. Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in specifying requirements.
Drive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs.
Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources.
Facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge.
Work with technical team to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan.
Cooperate with and manage external vendors as required.
Develop, implement and ensure project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary.
Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.
Partner closely with the Technical Product Manager to translate product strategy into actionable project plans and delivery milestones.
Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required.
Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project.
Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting in partnership with Technical Product Manager.
Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations.
Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected and discussed transparently within the team.
Embrace continuous improvement by applying Lean principles and analytical thinking to identify inefficiences, improve delivery flow, and elevate team performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
A minimum of 5 years experience leading and managing complex technical IT projects related to enterprise technical computing infrastructure or application products.
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY with occasional travel as needed.

The base pay range for this position is 110,700.00 - 147,600.00 - 184,600.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. You are also equity eligible.
