Clearwater is a provider of engineering, circuit card assembly, OEM Avionics, and MRO services to commercial and military customers. Products and technologies here are diverse and highly sophisticated. Your work will contribute to systems that manage the performance of Boeing 737 and 787 aircraft as well as F-18s, F-35s, Harriers, and Apaches. Role Overview:

The Production Supervisor will lead a diverse team to achieve production objectives. The role is responsible for developing and executing standard work in a Lean manufacturing environment and leading Continuous Improvement efforts through identification and execution of projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and development of 20+ experienced front-line manufacturing employees, including hiring and developing talent.
  • Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving teams, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to improve metrics.
  • Coach employees on Daily Management processes and identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety in the workplace, ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, and conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.
  • Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet delivery deadlines, optimize workflow and resource allocation to maximize efficiency, and address bottlenecks and production delays proactively.
  • Manage budgets, control production costs, identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and ensure efficient use of materials, equipment, and labor.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of manufacturing experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience directly leading people in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience facilitating projects that require influencing other functional groups that do not fall within the direct line of reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, Standard Work, Daily Management, etc.)
  • Commitment to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and lead change at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn​
  • Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively​
  • Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed ​
  • Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative​
  • Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
