Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with cross functional technology experts to understand NPI requirements and specifications and to formulate sourcing strategy.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies tailored to NPI projects.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
• Understand macroeconomic, geopolitical and financial trends and factor them in during negotiations and strategy development.  
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, addressing any issues that may arise.
• Translate business requirements and metrics into supplier deliverables.
• Analyze supplier performance, metrics and trends and effectively communicate to appropriate stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Procurement
• Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of NPI processes and requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
