The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and components required for new product development and introduction. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with cross functional technology experts to understand NPI requirements and specifications and to formulate sourcing strategy.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies tailored to NPI projects.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
- Understand macroeconomic, geopolitical and financial trends and factor them in during negotiations and strategy development.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, addressing any issues that may arise.
- Translate business requirements and metrics into supplier deliverables.
- Analyze supplier performance, metrics and trends and effectively communicate to appropriate stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Procurement
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of NPI processes and requirements.

- Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
