Essential Responsibilities:

• Build a great team culture while delivering for our customers 
• Utilize FLIGHT DECK to drive a culture focused on continuous improvement 
• Provide leadership to all organizations and individuals in the plant to meet requirements for safety, quality, delivery and cost
• Provide leadership development and performance feedback to staff leaders to guide plant and support organizations  
• Establish and maintain the plant vision for success 
• Facilitate the leadership team in strategic decision-making and problem-solving 
• Establish and maintain positive corporate citizenship through community organizations and the media 
• Work with local legislative bodies to promote decisions with a positive impact on the business 
• Develop and track expense and investment budgets with the input of each organization  
• Establish and adjust an organizational structure that best supports the plant goals and measurements

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college 
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership position

Desired Characteristics and Experience:

• Experience with disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, standard cost systems, bargaining agreement procedures is preferred 
• Experience in manufacturing policies and regulations established by GE as well as government and commercial customers is preferred

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
