The Muskegon and Norton Shores Site Leader will have ownership of the entire Muskegon and Norton Shores, Michigan sites. As the “Muskegon” Site Leader, you will lead 800-person organization to deliver quality parts on time for our customers, including a mix of Commercial and Military HPT nozzles and shrouds. Additionally, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Build a great team culture while delivering for our customers
- Utilize FLIGHT DECK to drive a culture focused on continuous improvement
- Provide leadership to all organizations and individuals in the plant to meet requirements for safety, quality, delivery and cost
- Provide leadership development and performance feedback to staff leaders to guide plant and support organizations
- Establish and maintain the plant vision for success
- Facilitate the leadership team in strategic decision-making and problem-solving
- Establish and maintain positive corporate citizenship through community organizations and the media
- Work with local legislative bodies to promote decisions with a positive impact on the business
- Develop and track expense and investment budgets with the input of each organization
- Establish and adjust an organizational structure that best supports the plant goals and measurements
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership position

- Experience with disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, standard cost systems, bargaining agreement procedures is preferred
- Experience in manufacturing policies and regulations established by GE as well as government and commercial customers is preferred
