Akima Intra-Data is looking for an EMCS Tech to help on our project at Keesler AFB.
Responsibilities
- Operates and maintains Keesler Air Force Base Emergency Management and Controls Systems to monitor, interpret, analyze and control connected HVAC systems to minimize abnormal conditions and accomplish on-line maintenance and repair tasks
- Utilizes JCI Metasys, MISSION Controls, SIEMENS and TAC INET systems to operate and monitor base heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and Water systems
- Monitor base water wells and lift stations for the purpose of identifying potential problems and to disseminate information to base personnel.
- Acts as after-hours customer service and dispatch responsible for entering data into official logs and tracking in the Air Force Civil Engineering Next Generation IT System (NGIT)
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state drivers license
- Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical and utilities systems
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints and technical manuals
- Minimum 1 year of documented experience as an EMCS Operator
- 3-5 years documented experience with HVAC systems
- Computer proficient on MS Office products
