Pinnacle Solutions, an Akima company is Looking for a DPM (Deputy Program Manager) to work in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Ensures safe and efficient conduct of all 2-13th Avn Regt and company-level support functions via direct supervision of personnel and hands on management of programs, responsible for Team Lead coverage in their absence.
- Full-time LOE to management of contractual, special projects, and support functions.
- Manages Ground Flight Observer physicals.
- Participates in support function and project planning meetings, at the Battalion and Company-level interface with Government Command and Staff; as required to coordinate support; disseminates meeting minutes to team level and spot-checks completed and ongoing projects; collects feedback and forwards quality metrics to Training Management.
- Works variable shifts for increased oversight; approves leave and timecards.
- Moves PWS-qualified personnel between functional areas to meet surge, absence and leave coverage requirements.
- As needed, interfaces with peer-functional managers on the Maintenance Services Task Order on matters associated with safety, as well as logistics/IT support/staffing.
- Manages the day-to-day activities for a moderately complex Technical or non-Technical project.
- Manages the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program. guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
- Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
- Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
- May conduct performance/project analyses to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the fields concepts and principles.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
- Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.
- Typically requires BA and 5-7 years.
Qualifications
- BA at least 5 years supervisor/management experience with UAS programs
- Must be able to maneuver uneven terrain up to 100m
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
- US citizenship required.
