Compliance Manager

Job Summary

We’re looking for a dynamic leader who’s passionate about developing people and raising the bar on compliance excellence. As our Training & Compliance Manager, you’ll design and lead impactful training programs, ensure regulatory standards are met, and create an environment where safety, skill, and accountability thrive.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Drive innovative training strategies that align with business goals.
  • Oversee compliance programs, audits, and reporting with precision.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to elevate performance.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The expected pay rate is $75,000/yearly. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Leadership & Oversight

  • Lead end-to-end compliance oversight and risk mitigation, ensuring all training and operational practices meet global policies, regulatory requirements (IATA, OSHA, TSA, FAA, Transport Canada), and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain station-level and regional compliance scorecards with measurable KPIs (e.g., audit pass rates, closure timelines, training completion percentages).
  • Conduct regular audits, surveys, and risk assessments, driving targeted corrective actions and tracking resolution to closure.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Global Training, Station Managers, SVPs, RTMs, and QHSE teams to implement structured action plans that close compliance gaps.
  • Utilize analytics and dashboard tools to identify trends, forecast risks, and inform proactive strategies.

Training & Development Excellence

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve organizational learning programs, including train-the-trainer, learning certification, and leadership development tracks.
  • Ensure training materials are standardized, current, and fully aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Apply adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and robust evaluation methodologies to deliver impactful training experiences.
  • Mentor and coach trainers, training partners, and development staff, ensuring readiness and capability across the network.
  • Support development of e-learning solutions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry innovations.
  • Oversee Virtual Training Solutions and direct, schedule and coordinate with Virtual Training Partners on event planning, station report-outs and trainer/session management.

Change Management & Culture Building

  • Drive cultural change to embed compliance into daily operations through targeted communication, leadership engagement, and role modeling.
  • Apply structured change management methodologies to support adoption of compliance initiatives.
  • Lead succession planning efforts to sustain the long-term capability of training and compliance programs.

Operational Integration

  • Collaborate with Operations and regional training managers to ensure alignment between compliance objectives and business priorities.
  • Maintain relationships with external consultants, vendors, and regulators to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of compliance best practices.
  • Travel up to 10 for on-site audits, coaching, and engagement to reinforce compliance culture in the field.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years in training management, compliance oversight, or a leadership role within a regulated industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving measurable compliance outcomes (audit pass rates, incident reduction, corrective action closure).
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in aviation, ground handling, fueling, or similar industries.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to lead through collaboration across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and LMS platforms; data visualization experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated change management expertise and a passion for fostering continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Personal and professional integrity of the highest order.

Ability to travel and work varied schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
