Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role is preferred.
- An MBA is a plus.
- Experience in the airline/aviation industry, particularly within Flight Operations, is desirable.

Job responsibilities
Project Management & Support
- Assist in the management of key Flight Operations projects, ensuring successful execution and timely completion.
- Utilize project management tools like JIRA to track progress, manage documentation, and report on project status.
- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of projects and initiatives, identifying areas for improvement.
Cost Benefit & Optimization Analysis
- Conduct thorough cost-benefit analysis to assess the financial impact of various operational scenarios, including pilot layovers and overage/underage flying hours.
- Collaborate with scheduling teams to identify trends and patterns, seeking opportunities to optimize pilot schedules and reduce overall flight crew costs.
- Track and analyze daily Pilot Non-Availability, suggesting corrective measures to improve crew readiness and operational efficiency.
Continuous Improvement & Automation
- Actively identify opportunities to automate manual processes, reduce turnaround times, and minimize errors.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by staying updated on industry best practices and innovative approaches to cost optimization and efficiency.
- Ensure all analytical processes and reporting adhere to regulatory standards and internal quality benchspans.
Data Analysis & Insights
- Perform deep-dive analysis on flight operations data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to visualize key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights through comprehensive reports and presentations.
