We were meant to fly.As Advanced Program Manager you will be responsible for managing the Leap and CFM56 risk revenue-sharing programs.You will possess comprehensive knowledge of financial and business concepts, contract management, best practices, processes, and procedures.The role requires working collaboratively across company functions to meet and exceed customer expectations while driving business profitability through operational excellence, leveraging lean principles and effective risk management.

Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities

  • Execute Risk & Revenues Programs, ensuring milestones are met in terms of timing, financials, and quality, while adhering to project methodologies and standard work practices.

  • Achieve company financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including margin expansion initiatives.

  • Collaborate with FP&A, Material Planning, OTR, and GSC finance leaders to develop strategies for meeting inventory targets.

  • Communicate Marketing actuals versus forecasts to the FP&A Leader and CFO, supporting finance with bottom-up analysis.

  • Manage program KPIs, profitability metrics, invoicing processes, contract payment milestones, cash collection, warranty/penalties administration, and past-due accounts.

  • Lead cross-functional Program Teams (Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Quality, etc.) across multiple locations, including Rivalta, Pomigliano, Brindisi, and Bielsko-Biała.

  • Foster long-term customer relationships, improving satisfaction on current programs and identifying opportunities for new initiatives.

  • Perform regular risk assessments and execute mitigation activities to address key risks.

  • Drive program profitability initiatives, coordinating teams toward assigned targets and presenting progress to OTR & Finance Senior Leadership.

  • Implement phase & gate methodology for NPI, supervising cost-out initiatives.

  • Update, review, and maintain business plans; provide timely internal reporting in accordance with defined standards.

  • Promote the adoption of the FLIGHT DECK approach to maximize process quality and execution efficiency.

  • Serve as Change Manager to oversee the incorporation of new modifications, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and customer requirements.

  • Support PCB preparation at all company levels, including Senior Leadership.

  • Coordinate CFMI Operations Program Manager activities to monitor program performance and develop a risk-based approach to supply chain issues.

  • Lead long-term strategic improvement initiatives between Safran and Avio Aero, including technical delegation, production permit process improvement, and product/process enhancements.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • STEM Masters Degree from an accredited university;

  • Solid experience in management of complex projects in a structured company.

  • Excellent risks management and problem solving skills

  • Ability to lead across functional and customer / supplier teams, both on-site and remotely.

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including top management.

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization.

  • Consolidated experience in acting in programs team or equivalent coordination role.

  • Demonstrated financial acumen and risk management expertise.  

  • Fluent written and spoken Italian and English.

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.

  • Previous experience managing large cross-functional programs (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supplier) in the aerospace industry.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Customer-oriented mindset.

  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Knowledge of contract law and export license processes.
