Role Overview:As an APQP Project Manager, you will lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) projects, ensuring alignment with GE quality standards and program needs. This role is critical to driving defect-free production processes and improving cross-functional collaboration. You will work in a hybrid capacity, with up to 30 travel required to support on-site audits and supplier engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for assigned APQP projects, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) principles.
  • Develop roadmaps and program plans to integrate APQP deliverables into existing policies and procedures.
  • Apply problem-solving methodologies to address challenges and continuously improve processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to spread APQP awareness and guide shops/suppliers through deliverable processes.
  • Partner with D&S Program teams to identify risks and opportunities for advanced quality initiatives.
  • Lead on-site visits to audit APQP deliverables and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage business metrics related to APQP projects, ensuring transparency and accountability.

The Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. They thrive in cross-functional environments and have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent discipline (or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience) +5 years of experience working with supply chain, manufacturing, or quality organizations.
  • Significant experience in product/project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge of APQP documentation.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
  • Intuitive understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The base pay range for this position is $111,700-171,100.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on July 25th, 2025
