Join our clients distinguished team as a Senior A&P Mechanic and elevate your career within the aviation industry. This role offers the unique opportunity to become part of the leading air ambulance provider in the United States, recognized for its unparalleled safety record. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft, contributing to the swift and safe transportation of over 22,000 patients annually. This position aligns with your career development goals by placing you at the forefront of the air medical field, allowing you to champion our clients mission of moving communities to health while upholding the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
  • Conduct meticulous reviews and evaluations of daily maintenance or inspection requirements to uphold aircraft airworthiness.
  • Communicate any unusual situations impacting schedules or requiring extra support to the Lead Mechanic.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all assigned aircraft at field bases, ensuring optimal stock levels and requisitioning necessary spares.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all company assets at the field base.
  • Prepare and certify reports, requisitions, and inventories, ensuring compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive entries in RAMCO, managing work packages, and tracking removals and installations.
  • Foster strong communication with the Lead Mechanic and AMBS to guarantee timely job completion.
  • Manage parts inventory and recommend necessary level changes.
  • Maintain and ensure the calibration of company-provided special tools.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support operations.
Requirements
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of rotary aircraft maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds), drug screening, and background check.
