Summary:
Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and standards.
Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems, including:
Landing gear
Powerplants
Flight controls
Fueling/defueling
Aircraft movement, launch, and recovery
Read and interpret technical data, schematics, and maintenance manuals
Ensure work meets quality and safety standards
Support aircraft launch and recovery operations
Requirements:
Active or interim Secret clearance preferred (can start without; process begins at offer stage)
High School Diploma or GED
4 6+ years of aircraft maintenance experience (e.g., Crew Chief, Phase Maintenance, Plane Captain)
F-16 or fighter aircraft experience preferred
Knowledge of APG systems, aircraft systems operation, and maintenance
Ability to work 1st Shift (5:30am 4:00pm), 2nd Shift (3:00pm 1:30am), or Weekend Shifts (Thurs Sun or Fri Mon)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Aircraft Crew Chief/Mechanic experience (4 6 years)
Hands-on experience with aircraft systems operation and repair
