PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a hands-on and mechanically skilled Assembly Mechanic to support operations in a dynamic production environment. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability and performance of mechanical equipment and systems used in high-impact industries.

Your Role and Impact
As an Assembly Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical machinery and components. Your work will help keep production running smoothly and safely, contributing directly to operational success.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assemble, maintain, and test mechanical equipment and components.
Identify worn or defective parts and place orders for replacements.
Follow work orders, safety instructions, and pre-established guidelines.
Perform basic repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Safely handle lifting tasks exceeding 30 lbs. and operate machinery in environments with chemical, biological, or physical risks.

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
2–4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
Familiarity with standard mechanical concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work under immediate supervision.
Comfortable working in physically demanding environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in mechanical systems.
Experience in industrial or production settings.
Basic troubleshooting and repair skills.

Pay Rate: $26/hr
Shift: 2^nd Shift 2:30PM-11:00PM

Pay Details: $26.00 per hour
