Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to protecting the American warfighter by installing cutting-edge technology onto military aircraft. As an Aircraft Structural Technician, you will engage in classified heavy modifications on various fixed-wing military aircraft, including C-130 and P-3 airframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform classified heavy modifications on fixed-wing military aircraft.
• Conduct depot-level maintenance and aviation heavy maintenance.
• Engage in aircraft modification tasks, including sheet metal fabrication and repair.
• Utilize rivet guns and blueprints for aviation maintenance and modification.

• Ownership of tools with a shadowed toolbox and tools etched or colored by Day 1.
• Ability to pass a basic sheet metal test on Day One.
• 6+ years of aviation structures (sheet metal) experience if only military experience; 4+ years if any civilian experience.

• Modification, heavy maintenance, and repair experience preferred.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, FAA-regulated hangar, with flexibility for shift assignments. Choose between a four-day work week with 10-hour shifts on either the 1st shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm or the 2nd shift from 4:00pm to 2:30am. Regular overtime is available but not guaranteed every week.

This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado with the potential to go direct after some time on contract..

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $43.00/hr.
