We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to perform C Checks on multiple incoming KC 135s (707 Boeing platform) as part of a 20-plane fleet. The role involves performing landing gear inspections, lubrications, functional checks, and parts replacements with a turnaround time of approximately six weeks per plane. It is essential to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance when interacting with customers, guests, and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks required by the work scope efficiently and to quality standards, utilizing applicable technical data.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual.
- Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms according to methods outlined in the RSM/QCM.
- Support Aircraft Crew Chief with shift turnover requirements as outlined in the RSM/QCM.
- Collaborate with the Customer Project Supervisor to achieve on-time and on-budget objectives.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices by utilizing a 5S system of sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain.
- Focus on Human Factors in the workplace and aim for zero defects in workmanship and safety.
- Observe and administer company rules, regulations, safety policy, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the corporate mission and vision by achieving department goals and objectives.
Essential Skills- A&P license required
- Boeing airframe experience
- KC 135 experience is a must
- 5+ years of experience preferred
- Experience working in a 145 repair station performing C checks on wide body airframes
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Structural experience preferred
- Must have toolbox shadowed and sign a tool inventory sheet
- Facial hair no longer than the chin, and long hair must be hidden if past the shoulders
- Willingness to work a 1st or 2nd shift role

Work Environment
This role is most likely a 1st shift opportunity, but could potentially involve a 2nd shift depending on project demands. Currently, the team is working 5/10s with some Saturday work as needed. The work environment is non-climate controlled.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
