Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as an A&P Mechanic, where you will be responsible for performing inspections, scheduled heavy maintenance, and modifications at the West Virginia Air Center. This role requires working in a PART 145 / MRO facility, engaging in a fast-paced and project-based environment, specifically focused on CRJ regional aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and scheduled heavy maintenance on CRJ aircrafts.
- Complete modifications and repairs in a PART 145 / MRO facility.
- Interpret and work according to blueprints and work orders.
- Handle heavy maintenance, repair, overhaul, and installation tasks efficiently.
- Ensure tasks are completed within specific timeframes and under time constraints.
Essential Skills- Minimum of 2 years experience in C&D check processes.
- Proficiency in working within MRO or DEPOT level environments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Independence and ability to work under time constraints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Must provide own tools.
- Experience in heavy maintenance and aircraft overhaul processes.

Work Environment
This position supports the MHI RJ Service Center at the West Virginia Air Center, involving heavy C/D checks on CRJ aircraft for regional airlines. The environment is extremely fast-paced, with turnaround for aircraft overhaul typically within 7-10 days. Work is completed in a southern swing shift format, with shifts operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dress code is casual, requiring T-shirts, shorts or jeans, with steel-toed shoes. Standard PPE is required on the shop floor, and safety training is provided during orientation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
