SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma/GED
- Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Must be able to communicate (oral, read, write) in English.
- Beginning - Intermediate level of skill is required to perform the majority of assigned standard tasks within the systems and technical area you will be assigned to.
Preferred experience
- Beginning - Intermediate experience with General Aviation Aircraft.
- Experience with Technical Manual Database Software ATP
- Knowledge of Principles and Process for providing Quality Customer Service.
- Knowledge of FAA requirements for aircraft maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with comprehension and interpretation of original equipment manufacturer’s technical data and FAA approved work package instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Talk and/or hear routinely throughout the day
- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and/or balancing all day.
- Use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to work in Hot/Cold – Indoor/Outdoor environments.
