Job Title: 2nd Shift Tool ClerkJob Description
Join our team as a Tool Clerk working the 2nd shift from Wednesday to Saturday, 4pm to 2:30am. Your main responsibilities will include checking inventory and signing tools in and out to mechanics, while utilizing our computer system. You will also be involved in cycle counting, picking tools, calibrating tools, and verifying tool stock. A mechanically inclined individual who is detail-oriented and works well in a team environment will thrive in this role.
Responsibilities
- Check inventory and sign tools in and out to mechanics.
- Utilize computer system for inventory management.
- Conduct cycle counting and pick tools.
- Calibrate tools and verify stock.
- Receive work orders on a tablet and provide necessary tools.
- Inspect returned tools for damage and missing parts.
- Work in warehouse as needed.
- Maintain punctuality and attendance.
Essential Skills- Experience in receiving inspection.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems.
- Skill in cycle counting and picking parts.
- Data entry proficiency.
- Mechanically inclined.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Forklift and scissor lift training will be provided.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is clean, well-lit, and organized. However, it can be chilly or hot depending on the season, so extra clothing layers are recommended during winter months. Closed-toed shoes, steel-toed boots, gym shoes, or work boots are required, along with jeans without rips or tears and a comfortable, appropriate work shirt.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
