We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our logistics and reclamations operations. This position plays a critical role in managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials, including the processing of reclaimed aircraft parts, while ensuring accurate data entry and inventory control. Essential functions will vary depending on the department to which you are assigned, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving operational needs.

Essential Job Functions:

· Identifies, controls, segregates and maintains all incoming parts under strict FAA receiving and shipping regulations.

· When supporting reclamations make sure all parts our cleaned and tagged accurately.

· Accurate data entry of parts from process tags.

· Ensures that material is verify with invoice or packing sheet.

· Ensures shelf life of materials and load test or calibration limitations of tooling are complied with.

· Upholds company policies and procedures.

· Adhere to daily safety protocols to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.

· Safely handle and work with hazardous materials in accordance with regulations and best practices.

· Prepares and reviews all receive and prep shipments for outside sales customers.

· Ensures that all package shipments are done with proper labeling by carrier.

· Maintains familiarity with the Ascent Aviation Services Solutions Inspection Procedures Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.

· Maintains communication within their area of responsibility, keeping employees informed of day-to-day operation, current performance indicators and future plans and events.

Marginal Job Functions:

· Conducts stores safety program.

· Maintains and issues first aid supplies.

· Ensures that proper documentation is made on training record, for training received, and signed by Lead, Supervisor or Manager.

· Ensure all work performed is done in a safe manger

· Direct activities to protect employees from harm and maintain safe working conditions.

Required

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Valid Driver’s License required

· Capable of working independently or under supervision.

· Ability to lift 50 plus pounds.

· Ability to read, write, and comprehend English with the capability to follow verbal and written instructions. This position requires strong communication skills with your team and customers.

· Flexibility to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.

Preferred

· Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines.

· Forklift experience with ability to get company certified.

· Excellent attention to detail and mathematical proficiency.

· Proficient in interpreting and applying technical data relevant to the position.

Work Location: Aircraft maintenance hangar, reclamations department and Avionics Shop.

Potential Hazards: Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, electrical charges and radar waves, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery.

Protective Equipment Required: Goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, safety harnesses, breathing equipment.
