JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Supplier
LOCATION: Kinston, NC
PAY RATE: Up to $44.38/hour

Job Details:

Contract Length: 6-12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Conduct audits and inspections to verify supplier compliance with quality systems and contractual requirements.

Monitor supplier quality performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Prepare and maintain quality procedures in alignment with customer and government standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact with suppliers on quality matters.

Provide technical expertise and coaching on quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Support supplier performance improvement initiatives and process development.

Ensure documentation of approved Quality Systems by suppliers.

Represent the company in supplier quality meetings and audits.

Travel to supplier locations as needed for on-site evaluations.

Requirements:

10+ years in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), with at least 5 years specifically in Supplier Quality.

Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience working directly with suppliers on quality approvals and issue resolution.

Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices and root cause analysis techniques.

Ability to handle quality issues professionally and drive effective resolutions.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
