Position Summary
Develop and manages the direction and activities of the procurement parts and trading goods from overseas.
The primary functions of this position what is strategic global commodity buyer for the Fluid Connector product lines, Global role. Develop, manage, implement global commodity and sourcing strategies for the Fluid Connector product line that will meet the organizations growth, cost, quality, delivery and other prime goals.
Scope/Supervision & Interaction
Details job descriptions are as following.
- Develop global Fluid Connector product line sourcing strategy, and lead commodity specific sourcing strategies.
- Build global strategic supply base capacity for the responsible commodities that meets the business growth, capacity and performance needs.
- Manage oversea suppliers on time delivery
- Build strong positive relationships with strategic supply base.
- Program and project management of cost down projects to meet profit plan.
- Responsible for supplier negotiations / cost.
- Responsible for supply continuity and risk mitigation for responsible commodities.
- Responsible for negotiation and maintenance of supplier contracts and commercial terms.
Essential Functions:
- Experience supply chain activities within Fluid Connector Korea Division.
(Supplier evaluation if price, quality, delivery, certifications)
- Procurement Parts and Import Goods from overseas.
- Implement PFEP(Plan For Every Parts).
- Manage DSI of Oversea Inventory
- Manage Oversea of FCK’s transportation logistics and Warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Less than 2 years managerial experience in oversea buyer and logistic
- At least 4 year bachelor’s degree in business , engineering , or management required with certification in supply chain management preferred.
- Communications, interpersonal and project management skills
- Computer literate, including familiarity with Microsoft Office/Windows
- Language skills: fluency in English
