Be a part of this growing site as it goes through a transformation period with brand new technology coming in and an increase in projects with expanding clients from the automotive and Oil & Gas industry.
At the Barnstaple site, as a CNC setter you will be responsible for the creation of tube-fittings, valves, manifolds, and further components with CNC equipment and brand new technology coming in. Responsibility will be yours for keeping to quality standards for set components made for a large variety of international projects.

Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC machines (including lathes and mills) to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, routings, and documentation accurately
- Support continuous improvement activities by contributing to best practice sharing and keeping to site standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety principles and company requirement standards
Qualifications
- CNC machine setting and operating previous experience – and/or manual machining background
- Can read and interpret engineering drawings
- Basic understanding of measuring tools such as; gauges, verniers, calliper. Experience with measuring and keeping to correct components specifications
- Previous experience using similar site machinery but training will be provided if not; Okuma and Doosan lathes, Mazak and Bridgeport Mills, Wickman 6 Spindle Machine
- Experience with Pneumatic components will be a strong bonus to have
