Roles and Responsibilities
- Complete aerodynamic design and analysis of high- and low-pressure turbine components
- Develop advanced aerodynamic technology to improve engine performance and durability
- Analyze component and engine test data to validate aerodynamic designs
- Cultivate advanced skills in aerodynamic design, including use of cutting-edge numerical and experimental techniques
- Develop analytical tools/software to improve aerodynamic design and predictive capabilities
- Formulate and execute plans to achieve technical and program requirements
- Develop lean processes to improve organizational productivity and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university or college

Desired Characteristics
- Any relevant turbomachinery aerodynamic design experience OR master’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering relevant to turbomachinery aerodynamics
- Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and/or aerodynamic testing techniques
- Interest in being a self-starter, utilizing innovative problem solving to drive solutions on complex issues
