The Boeing Company is currently seeking two First Level Managers (Level K) to lead the Systems Safety Engineering Team on the MQ-25 Program and on the Fighters(F-15/F/A-18) program in Berkeley, Missouri.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead a diverse team of Systems Safety engineers that provide technical expertise to meet customer commitment
- Managing resources, processes, tools, providing support and participation in a manner that ensures successful program execution
- Acquiring resources for organizational activities, supports technical management and leads process improvements
- Managing cost & schedule performance and reporting
- Review new proposals and provide detailed estimates to ensure adequate resources allocation for the system safety team
- Mentoring and coaching all levels of safety engineers providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of leaders in systems safety
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Support Chief Engineer organization at program and division level Safety Review activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Experience with MIL-STD 882 safety hazard analysis on fixed wing aircraft
- Experience working on US Navy or US Air Force aircraft programs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Prior experience as a manager

Summary pay range K Manager: $129,200 - $174,800
