Take Your Engineering Career to the Edge of InnovationPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Systems Engineer to contribute to a trailblazing space exploration mission. You’ll support the design and development of Dragonfly hardware—a next-generation solution for NASA and the aerospace community. This is your opportunity to play a key role in building the systems that will shape humanity’s presence beyond Earth.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
What You’ll DoAct as a liaison with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to capture and negotiate system requirements.
Document, validate, and manage system requirements across the full lifecycle.
Allocate and derive lower-level technical requirements.
Ensure rigorous requirements traceability and compliance tracking.
Capture and assess risks and rationale associated with design changes.
Contribute to the success of a cross-functional integrated product development (IPD) team.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, or Chemical Engineering.
8–20 years of relevant engineering experience.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Exceptional attention to detail, writing, and math skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in full hardware development life cycle (proposal to verification).
Familiarity with NASA-based requirements and aerospace compliance standards.
Cross-disciplinary understanding of space flight hardware—mechanical, electrical, software, safety, and materials.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $96.00 per hour
