The Boeing Company is looking for a Systems Designer & Developer to join our team in either Berkeley, MO or Seattle, WA. This position supports the enterprise Design/Build Systems & Tools team, working across the enterprise for Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E). The successful candidate will join a geographically dispersed and multidisciplinary infrastructure team that is responsible for developing and supporting engineering products used by design, manufacturing, and industrial engineers, as well as technicians and mechanics who support the BT&E test labs.
This role requires the use of internal and external data across a broad array of systems that are integrated into multiple data warehouses. The applicant will be expected to evaluate complete computing requirements for engineering supporting both lab test and flight test teams. They will be collaborating with Data Solutions Architects, Data Scientists, Systems Engineers, Business Intelligence Analysts, and Software Application Developers to support a software and analytics suite that integrates Boeing AI/ML tools into engineering and business systems in novel ways.
The ideal candidate will help with the architecture of the overall vision planning and road-mapping activities for the Design/Build data science solutions as well as designing and implementing the systems, tools, and processes necessary to support enterprise functional excellence strategies.

Position Responsibilities:
Provides consultation and leadership to identify, evaluate and document complex computing system requirements
Applies expertise related to the architecture, design, build and test delivery systems and components
Provides technical leadership to evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments
Provides technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of complex delivery systems
Supports the development of System Optimization processes
Supports the Systems Vision Plan and Roadmap for Design/Build organization
Develops a working knowledge of core systems such as GOLD, VSVT, OWB, CMES, MESci, & BLIS
Coordinates with business partners to understand their engineering and operations requirements
Develops strategies for integrating legacy systems into next generation systems
Supports major projects by defining the work scope, estimated cost, and scheduling through the performance of risk analysis using project management tools
Develops/implements new processes across an organization
Builds relationships with internal/external customers
Works with customers / end users to gather and document requirements
Technical Skills:
Full stack software developer supporting front-end and back-end development
Experience with IDE Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio Professional
Expert developing and coding with C (.NET) and JavaScript (Node.js)
Develop web applications using front end frameworks ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.JS.
Expert with Design Patterns (MVC and MVVM), knowing when and how to use them
Developed systems with OAuth and SSO
Familiar with API documentation (Swagger or other frameworks)
Capable and familiar with Unit Testing and Dependency Injection
Experience developing console applications, web applications, Restful API, and application databases
Familiar with HTML and web browser dev tools to reproduce and diagnose issues
Develop or utilize common frameworks (.net entity framework) for a data access layer
Support the development of Systems Diagrams, including Interface Diagrams, and System of Systems Diagrams
Expert with SQL (complex stored procedures and views)
Working experience with Agile methodology (and Git/ADO/Jira)
Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite of Apps
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 4): $120,700 - $174,800
Summary Pay Range for Lead level (Level 5): $144,500 - $209,300
