Duties: Act as a key contributor, providing expertise to support a variety of software engineering assignments throughout the product life cycle. Designs and develops web, software, mobile apps, prototypes, or proof of concepts. Lead software design and architecture of complex systems or products. Improve existing designs and implements new functionality of complex software. Resolve defects/bugs during testing, pre-production, production, and post-release activities. Present technical designs, data, and project status to all levels of management. Gather functional requirements, develops technical specifications, and project plans. Create, maintain, and provide relevant documentation including technical requirements, specifications, design documents, and test plans as needed.
Requirements: A bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study and ten (10) years of experience as a Senior Technical Manager, Software Developer, Onsite Co-coordinator and Manager, Lead Engineer, Verification Engineer, or related role where experience was gained. Also requires 10 years of experience in the following:
- Engineer delivering safety critical control or software projects in the aerospace, defense, transport or industrial sectors or similar field;
- Embedded C;
- Developing safety-critical software using model-based software development tools such as SCADE, Green Hills Multi, Wind River, or Single Step; and
- SCADE Model base development Microprocess or development Multi Debugger SCADE Tool chain for development/test Brake Control Systems DO178C: SOI1, SOI2, SOI3, SOI4 certification process.
