JOB TITLE: Software Engineer - Agile Product Owner (DEFENSE)

Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 4/10 1st Shift
Onsite Requirement: 1 day per week
Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Secret Clearance (ability to obtain)

Summary:
Define and prioritize the software application product backlog in alignment with program objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain product roadmaps and release plans.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
Coordinate with development teams to ensure clear requirements and timely delivery of features.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure adherence to DoD cybersecurity and compliance standards.
Communicate project status, priorities, and issues to leadership and stakeholders.
Support software application testing, configuration management, and integration activities.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Bachelors degree
Experienced Agile Product Owner with knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices
Skilled in software application backlog management, roadmap development, and stakeholder communication
Proficient with Jira and Confluence
Experience in software application user support and software engineering
Knowledge of applying DoD cybersecurity controls
Experience managing project budgets and developing/maintaining IMS (Integrated Master Schedule)
General understanding of software engineering, DevOps, and software configuration management
Experience in software testing and Agile Scrum Master responsibilities
Familiarity with software configuration management practices
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
