What You Will Do:
- Contribute expertise on manufacturing processes including: equipment, floor layouts, work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and work flow
- Develop/implement control plans
- Identify process improvements opportunities using analysis, modeling, benchspaning, research, etc.
- Conduct research on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems
- Provide measurable input into the sequence of operations and work instructions
- Develop and improve standard work
- Contribute to plans for allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to establish maximum utilization
- Prepare project cost estimates and cost benefit analysis to validate cost against pertinent business plan(s) and program expectations
- Achieve economic goals for complex systems and products in production and/or under development
- Program, integrate, and validate/verify new manufacturing equipment
- Review processes and tooling to drive improvements that eliminate risks related to quality, safety, and producibility (e.g. process failure mode effect analysis)
- Manage small projects or processes
- Use various software packages to maintain and update documents and records
- Minimal travel involved

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years of experience
- Prior experience in data collection, analysis, and visualization techniques
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of lean principles, including process flow optimization
- Experience leading a project and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including factory operators, peers, and management

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
