Summary:
Apply broad engineering knowledge to assess and resolve product/process issues throughout the product lifecycle
Lead research and develop interim and final engineering solutions for complex technical, operational, and quality issues
Conduct root cause analysis and manage dispositions for design non-conformances
Drive product and process improvements using innovative approaches to detect deviations and address nonconformances
Evaluate reported problems for potential safety issues and manage resolution strategies
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in design reviews
Represent engineering from production through post-production phases
Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with standards
Develop customer communications to ensure continued safe operation and maintenance
Lead on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation/support teams
Design jacking and shoring schemes, interim structural repairs, and perform static strength analysis
Develop and lead non-destructive testing procedures, tools, and standards
Create and implement technical training curricula for internal and external customers
Requirements:
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field)
10+ years experience in electronic component testing
Hands-on product development and product testing experience
Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings
Basic understanding of software development processes
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
ABET accreditation preferred but not required
