As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will join our Hardware and Infrastructure Engineering Team. This role supports next-generation Air Traffic Control systems and existing fielded systems. You’ll work with electronic power circuits and COTS custom hardware designs. The role requires classic design techniques, modern power electronics knowledge, and hands-on lab skills.
What You Will Do:
- You will work onsite in Marlborough MA
- Identify potential power supply candidates, conducting trade studies, and selecting devices that meet requirements
- Perform preliminary and detailed design activities
- Design and develop power system hardware, including power converters, conditioners, and distribution systems
- Conduct lab testing for Engineering Change Proposals, including inrush, harmonics, and power factor characterization
- Write detailed verification test plans and reports
- Interface with Configuration Management, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Supply Chain in support of product development
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience in Electrical Engineering or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing, evaluating, and testing power supplies
- Experience with technical documentation
- PCB/PWB design experience
Qualifications We Value:

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
