This Position is 100 onsite at our Haltom City, TX location.

What You Will Do
Plans, designs and implements production processes and layouts across the various Wheel and Brake MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) service centers global network
Manages medium to large scale projects from initial concept to full implementation across multiple facilities
Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization
Determines parts and tooling needed in order to achieve production goals according to product specification
Application of state-of-the-art technology, methods, equipment, waste disposal processes, and utilities to preserve and extend the life of the plant and its related infrastructure
Coordination of production and engineering support. Assure that the necessary support elements are available to optimize production efforts. This involves, but is not limited to, maintenance activities; day-to-day troubleshooting of process, product, and equipment problems; and capital equipment
Supports Process Improvement teams and Process Improvement philosophy
Working collaboratively with peers in operations, engineering, service center staff or independently to develop and implement improved processes to increase efficiency, reduce turn times and enhance health and safety of the workplace
Draft and execute CAPEX spending plan and tracking tool for and maintain green rating for all metrics related to CAPEX
Generate and monitor to closure all CAPEX projects per the plan, including capital and expensed AR’s and new equipment requests by site
Participate in LEAN Manufacturing Events as appropriate for functional area of responsibility which includes contributing to Visual Management & Control, Layout, Flow & Linkage and Standard Work relating to Franchise Approach
Coordinate all (EIS) Entry into Service items including hardware, tooling, standard work creation on all AC platforms to ensure smooth operator entry into service. This includes meetings, readiness of service centers, supporting documents, SAP Task List requirements, etc.
Assist Manager with Service Center establishment/relocation. Monitor/initiate site lease renewal process at least one year in advance of expiration; prepare final AR at least 6 months prior to expiration
Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior manufacturing experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
Willing to travel up to 20 (includes some international travel)
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in Aerospace or Aviation environment
Experience in MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) environment
Experience with SAP as an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement Certifications

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
