The Lead Process Engineer will working within the manufacturing process at our West Chester, Ohio location. In this role, you will impact departmental operations and be responsible for planning/execution.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
- Program and Run EDM Wire Machines
- Program and Run CNC Mill/Lathe
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through start up and certification
- Assess processes, take measurements, interpret data, and document results
- Communicate project outcomes to senior leadership
- Lead projects intended to design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes
- Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve technology and processes related to additive post processing
- Develop and audit process specific work instructions
- Perform risk assessments and implement abatements
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing or design experience)
- At least an additional 3 years of manufacturing or design experience
Desired Characteristics:
- Lean Six Sigma experience and/or formal training
- CAD experience, particularly Unigraphics NX
- Experience with EDM technologies
- Experience programming and running CNC equipment
- Experience with additive manufacturing
