Boeing Defense, Space & Security is hiring a Lead Manufacturing Engineer supporting our Executive Transport and Surveillance Team in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will lead a small team of Manufacturing Engineers supporting modifications and upgrades to Executive aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
Review engineering requirements and drawings and provide manufacturability and producibility feedback
Investigates technical problems
Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
Control Account Manager (CAM)
Position may require domestic travel up to 25 of the time
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. top secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
8 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience reviewing engineering requirements / drawings and providing manufacturability and producibility feedback
Experience with Authoring and Updating Installations and Modifications Shop Floor Work Instructions
Experience with GOLDesp or similar Manufacturing Execution System
Experience with improving processes and tools
Experience leading a small team or project management
Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
Top Secret Security Clearance (SAP)
