ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
A Lead Field Service Engineer, you will ensure high network service availability by monitoring and maintaining systems in line with SITA standards. Youll support service quality through process improvements, handle incident and change requests, perform physical checks of communication closets, respond to customer network needs, and act as the primary contact for service performance issues.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support internal/external customers in line with contracts and SLAs.
- Monitor, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of systems and products.
- Act as SPOC for incidents/problems; manage resolutions within SLA.
- Promote best practices and proactively address service issues.
- Assist senior team members with preventive maintenance and service cutovers.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Troubleshoot and escalate network issues as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, patches, and backups.
- Maintain network documentation and support policy implementation.
- Provide user support, training, and participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS:
- 3–5 years of experience in network or system support with SLA delivery.
- Familiar with airline and/or airport operations.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, systems, and applications.
- Excellent customer service and problem ownership skills.
- Skilled in LAN troubleshooting using tools like PING and TRACEROUTE.
- Experience with proprietary system support and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in installing and configuring user applications.
- Able to resolve moderately complex technical issues.
- Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or Telecommunications.
- Certifications like MCSE, CCNA/CCNP; knowledge of ITIL practices.

Pay Transparency Nondiscrimination Provision
In the U.S. (New York), the standard base pay range for this role is $75K - $82K Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
