Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of engine log sheets and other process documentation. Responsible for all record retention of required documents  
• Complete First Article Inspection documentation for NPI engines, process changes, and requirement changes
• Use problem solving tools and root cause corrective action analysis to reduce test defects and cell downtime
• Collaborate with the broader LATO quality team on improving engine quality and reducing defects
• Assist in investigations related to test quality escapes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience

Desired Characteristics

• GE Aerospace Preliminary Review (PR) authority
• Material Review Board (MRB) Quality Chair Authority
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience in the aerospace industry
• Basic understanding of jet engine operation
