MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate will have current or prior airline engineering experience and demonstrate a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to aircraft maintenance support. Other qualifications include:
- Must possess an FAA A&P license or hold a bachelor's degree in an aviation-related or engineering field; equivalent extensive experience may be considered.
- Must have three to five years of airline operations or engineering experience (preferred).
- Must have experience working with FAA representatives and strong knowledge of 14 CFR, especially Parts 25 and 121 (preferred).
- Must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
- Must have strong critical thinking, communication (written and verbal), and decision-making skills.
- Must be highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and TRAX, and adaptable to other technical systems.
- Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS); knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation is highly desired.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
