The incumbent contributes to the development and optimization of Air Transat’s flight shedule in the short to medium term (45-day window and beyond), including codeshare agreements, while ensuring operational feasibility and schedule integrity.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design of seasonal flight shedule(summer and winter) in collaboration with the Network Development teams
- Update and maintain flight schedules in a scheduling tool(e.g., NetLine)
- Coordinate schedule adjustments and ensure their communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Plan and manage updates to codeshare and interline schedule
- Ensure the management and optimization of airport slots in accordance with IATA standards and local regulations
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to integrate operational constraints (aircraft, crew, maintenance, airport)
- Validate operational feasibility and optimize short-term scheduling (rotations, block times, connections, overall performance)
- Adjust planning in response to operational disruptions (delays, AOG, maintenance)
