Job Description

The Aircraft Maintenance Records Analyst ensures that all maintenance activities for non-jet general aviation aircraft adhere to regulatory requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company standards. This role focuses on researching aircraft records, building accurate and comprehensive aircraft records, conducting airworthiness directive research, reviewing manufacturer service bulletins, and providing maintenance compliance recommendations. The Records Analyst oversees inspection preparation, quality control, and final checks to maintain airworthiness and regulatory compliance, acting as the primary liaison with aviation authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation for regulatory inspections and audits by coordinating with maintenance teams and compiling required documentation.
• Oversee quality control processes by reviewing maintenance tasks and verifying adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Perform final inspections of completed maintenance work, approving documentation, and completing detailed write-ups.
• Research historical aircraft records to verify maintenance history and build accurate records for regulatory and client purposes.
• Monitor and interpret airworthiness directives (ADs) and service bulletins (SBs) for timely compliance.
• Provide actionable recommendations to address compliance gaps and incorporate best practices.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations such as FAA and EASA standards.
• Conduct regular internal audits to verify regulatory adherence.
• Investigate compliance issues, document findings, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities during inspections and audits.
• Develop and deliver compliance-related training to maintenance staff.
• Assist in updating company compliance and quality control policies to align with regulatory changes.

• Experience with regulatory inspections, audits, or quality control is highly desirable.

Work Environment

The role is based in an office within a hangar or maintenance facility at Gwinnett County Airport (KLZU). Expect occasional exposure to noise and chemicals in the hangar and flexible hours to meet regulatory or audit deadlines. There may be occasional travel for regulatory meetings or audits.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
