Amentum is currently seeking an Acquisition Analyst II to support the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier, Redstone Arsenal. AL. This position will afford you an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and cohesive team whose mission is to provide and rapidly deliver enhanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities, which provides combat overmatch and facilitates mission execution.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist acquisition management across an entire product line.
- Coordinate products and tasking across the acquisition process and life cycle phases
- Assist with the preparation and staffing of all Milestone documentation
- Assist with determining contracting strategy, preparing contracting documents, and coordinating activities with Army Contract Command
- Participate in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations
- Assist in providing contract oversight for assigned products
- Assist in the preparation and management of the program budget and master schedule
- Assist with the preparation of Supply Request Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army sustainment
- Assist with developing and drafting acquisitions strategies, acquisition plans and other acquisition documents.
- Perform financial and status reporting and basic logistics activities
- Assist in acquisition planning and assess cost, schedule and performance risk.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years or more of relevant experience
- Must have an Active US Government Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
