Supervision of Purchase and Sales Ledgers

Finalising the monthly management accounts and submitting to Group in line with the reporting timetable

Uploading data re finance and production hours

Monthly updating and submission of order intake data

Preparation of monthly narrative to support accounts submission describing P&L performance, cash movements, order intake, overhead variances and working capital movements

Preparation and distribution of Management Accounts pack to Senior Leadership teams

Oversee preparation and distribution of Sales and Expense Trackers

Undertaking variance analysis to understand the nature of major over/under spends against budget and/or forecast

Co-ordinate weekly cash flow reporting and provide narrative on movements from previous forecast

Assist with business planning and reporting including specifically IBP (Integrated Business Planning), quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and five-year planning cycles

Reconciliation and reporting relating to the weekly cash forecasting and reporting to Group

Monthly VAT returns

Annual insurance returns to Group

Liaison with Internal and External auditors

Assist in the implementation of the new ERP system

Assist the Financial Controller and Head of Finance on ad hoc project work

Qualifications

Good standard of education

Professional accounting qualification

Significant experience within a similar role

Ability to work well under pressure and to timescales

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Excellent IT skills

Management experience
