STS Technical Services is hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator in Troy, Michigan to support key financial operations. This role plays an essential part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the timely processing of invoices and account statements. Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will compute, classify, and record numerical data to maintain complete and accurate financial records. This role involves the use of specialized accounting software and databases to manage billing, invoicing, and reporting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a solid foundation in accounting practices.
Responsibilities:
- Classify, record, and summarize financial transactions using journals, ledgers, and accounting software
- Prepare and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial documents according to established procedures
- Input debit and credit entries into spreadsheets and databases
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding billing or payment status
- Assist with audits and reporting as needed
Required Skills:

- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of accounting principles and mathematical calculations
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial systems
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
- 2–4 years of professional experience in accounting or financial roles required
